The Start of a New Journey

Good afternoon readers,

Some of you may remember me from my past blog - FBB2VLM since then I have written a second and a third but with very little, and if i'm honest - no progress at either weight loss or running ability.  So this blog is about my new journey - FBB2LLH or Fatty Boom Boom 2 London Landmarks Half.

What are my aims this time round?

  • Train well
  • Remain injury free (difficult as I am starting with Plantar Fasciitis and ankle problems)
  • Remain healthy
  • Complete some races along the way
  • Hopefully get a PB or 2
  • Complete LLHM, not with ease as such, but with the body of someone who has trained correctly and to the best of my ability.... My Race Day Goals at this point:
    • Complete the race under the time of 2018 - 3:39:06
    • Complete the race under my HM PB - 3:02:33
    • Complete the race under 3:00:00
So my stats at this point are:
  1. 16st 3 (weigh in at Slimming World on 7/8)
  2. Current run without stopping - 25:00 - 3.22km
  3. Current long walk/run - 57:42 - 7km
I have been arguing with myself on how I should train between now and LLMH, and I have taken  the advice of a very good friend of mine who just happens to be a great runner and coach at a local running club.  Sharon has given me a plan of action to keep me going for the next 7 weeks and hopefully get me to a point where I can run 50 minutes without stopping.

So please feel free to join me on my journey, I will aim to write a post at least once per week and include my weigh ins, training and general feelings.

Much Love
FBB
